Our mission is to support the Department of Food Science and Technology by providing accurate, relevant sensory information through the use of scientifically sound and innovative sensory techniques. This includes, but is not limited to, fundamental and applied research measuring the impact of consumer products such as food, beverages and personal care merchandise for the perception of taste, smell, pungency, touch and appearance related cognitively as preference, liking, acceptability and purchase intent.
